Photos (sort of)

After the long wait for photos, I hate to disappoint you, but unfortunately I'm only able to post a few pics from our photographer, Bruno. The files are just too large (MB-wise) to post on an online sharing site like Flickr without reformating them to smaller files. So I'm only able to share a few of our favorites below. Enjoy!

PICTURES COMING SOON! WE PROMISE!!

Assuming anyone still reads this...

While you wait, check out the new poll question on the sidebar -->

And if you've already answered the poll question, check out a few pics from Troy's cousin, Michele. We really like the abstract one of us walking down the aisle and the one of Angie's dress from the back (while we're dancing). Thanks again, Shelly (in the words of Uncle Wayne).

Update: Thanks to the 5 of you who are still stopping by our blog!! Just think, if Troy's grandma had the internet, there would be 6 of you!!! We'll have a link up soon to the best of the best from our professional photographer (and friend), Bruno!

Let the credits roll...

Rachel Rineer
Rachel was a bridesmaid, so you won't see any shots from the ceremony here, but we are quite impressed with the variety of shots she managed to capture!

Diana Davis
Diana and her husband, Matt, were supposed to be our scripture readers, and their son, Max, was supposed to be our ring bearer, but a late week virus put them down for the count. By the grace of God they were all well enough to make short appearences at both the ceremony and reception -- we missed your participation, but were happy that you all could share the day with us!

Mr and Mrs Troy Mouer

One week and counting...

We are getting so close! It really is crazy. Six months ago this day seemed so far away. Actually, just one month ago this day seemed pretty far away. But its just around the corner now.

We wanted to check in one last time before the big day. We have honestly been so blessed by many of you contributing your God-given talents and time in helping us plan our wedding and reception. We are currently pulling together all the little things and are so excited to see everyone and celebrate with you all.

Even though this is our last post before the wedding, it's certainly not our last post on this blog. Be sure and check back after the wedding for pictures. We might even share some of our "behind the scenes" thoughts and feelings from the day. We'll also post a list of everyone and everything we used to make this day happen -- from the company that printed our invitations to the cake maker -- everyone will be acknowledged.

We'll see ya in a week!

Vote Now!!

Who would you rather dance with at the reception?

Angie or Troy?

Maybe you haven't noticed, but there is a poll in the right sidebar where you can vote to answer this question. It's just for fun, so go on, vote now!!

Hershey - How To Get Here

As a convenience for our out-of-town guests who will be making the trip for our wedding, I've created a map on Google Maps. You can get to it by clicking here, by clicking "View Larger Map" above or by clicking the quick link on the sidebar.

That will lead you to the interactive map where you will find the church where the ceremony is being held, as well as the reception location, both of which are marked by the blue placemarks. You'll also find written, door-to-door directions from the church to the reception site.

I've also marked the Comfort Inn, where we've set aside a block of rooms for our out-of-town guests. Don't forget to make your reservations by February 29, 2008 in order to secure the discounted rate.

In order to get detailed driving directions to any of these locations, simply click the blue placemark and enter your starting location under the "Get directions" area of the bubble that pops up!

It's a super cool feature and we hope you find it helpful and useful.

Hershey - Where To Eat

Houlihan's
27 West Chocolate Avenue . Hershey, PA 17033 . 717-534-3110
Great place to have a nice dinner in a casual atmosphere. Highly recommended by the happy couple. Angie usually orders the Stuffed Chicken Breast, while Troy usually struggles to decide between the Chipolte-Smoked Chicken Enchiladas and the Chicken Parmesan.

The Chocolate Avenue Grill
114 West Chocolate Avenue . Hershey, PA 17033 . 717-835-0888
Excellent menu with fresh and creative sandwiches, wraps and dinners. Plus a great atmosphere! Closed Sundays.

Panera Bread
1178 Mae Street . Hummelstown, PA 17036 . 717-533-5242
A great spot for lunch. Panera also has a great selection of breads and bagels as well. And it's right next door to the Comfort Inn.

Jo-Jo's Pizza
1150 Cocoa Avenue . Hershey, PA 17033 . 717-534-2533
Great subs. Great pizza. This is our choice for best local pizza joint!

Cocoa Perk
1130 Cocoa Avenue . Hershey, PA 17033 . 717-312-1444
A local coffee house and cafe -- for all your caffeine fixes!

Hershey - What To Do

Neither of us grew up in the Hershey area. We both came here to take our first jobs, moving into mostly unfamiliar territory. However, in the 5+ years that we've both lived here, it has truly become home to us. Unless the Lord would move us, we can't imagine leaving this area. It's just such a neat little place. It's also the perfect place to visit! If you're coming from out of town and have time, why not stay an extra day and make a long weekend out of it? Here are a couple ideas to get you started on things to see and do!

Hershey's Chocolate World
Open year round, this is great fun for people of all ages (and we're not just saying that)! Learn how chocolate is made on the Chocolate Tour, take in a 3D show, visit a huge candy store and take a trolley ride around the town of Hershey. Chocolate World also has various cafes and a food court -- all in one spot! Spend as much time here as you'd like. You could spend an entire afternoon here. But if you're pressed for time, you can take the Chocolate Tour and visit the candy shop in just over an hour.

Cocoaplex Cinema
1150 Cocoa Avenue . Hershey, PA . (717) 312-1300
Looking for something to do after the reception -- this is the closest movie theatre. Oh...and if you go, check out Fire Alley next door -- it's sorta where we had our first date.

Ed. Note: Actually, it's where Troy asked Angie if she'd like to start dating him. And although he asked her during dinner, which he paid for, they weren't technically on a date.

Evangelical Free Church of Hershey
If you're looking for a church service to attend on Sunday morning after the wedding, may we suggest our church home -- Hershey Free.

Ed. Note: Don't be confused -- Hershey Free is Angie and Troy's home church, but their wedding is being held just down the road at Fishburn United Methodist Church. Hershey Free is hosting a large missions conference the weekend of their wedding and was unable to accommodate them. And in all honesty, the main sanctuary at Hershey Free is a little too big for their wedding anyway, so they were actually looking to find a smaller space. In that vein, the Lord provided Fishburn UMC!

Here are some other ideas, albeit all slanted toward Hershey Entertainment & Resorts owned operations -- but let's be honest, they pretty run the town anyway!

Hershey - Where To Stay

There are a million places to stay in and around the Hershey area -- everything from a quaint bed & breakfast, to the high-end Hershey lodges, to every chain hotel you can name. So we took the pressure off of our guests by carefully looking into and selecting the best value (based on service, comfront, perks, price and ratings by previous guests). May we suggest...

Meet The Wedding Party - Amanda

Amanda Hertlein . Maid of Honor

From my baby sister to a twenty-one year old beauty, my sister has always been my best friend. So...I always knew that I would choose her to stand beside me on my special day and hold my train (even if she does end up ripping it in the process. ;)

Even though Amanda is 7 years younger than me, we have always been able to have fun talks and find lots of things to do together. I guess she is pretty mature for her age. :)

Some of my favorite memories I have of me and my sister are playing piano duets, creating music videos (with my brother too), talks about boyfriends, working on each other's hair, shopping and late night talks.

I'm also excited that Amanda will be coming to live in Hershey after she graduates from Bloomsburg University in May. She will be taking a job at the Hershey Medical Center as a nurse in June and it will be nice to have her be in the area and closer than she has been the last several years.

My dream of finding a wonderful man to spend the rest of my life with has come true and I am so excited to have my sister standing next to me as it happens. It is my hope and prayer that I will be able to stand next to her someday too and watch her marry a wonderful man that will love and cherish her.

Love you sis!!!!

Meet The Wedding Party - Kevin

Kevin Mouer - Best Man

I've known Kevin longer than anyone else in the wedding party -- that's becuase he's my younger brother. I stood beside him on his wedding day and now he will stand beside me on mine! We've pretty much done it all together. One journey after another to where we stand today.

One of the greatest journeys we've shared was a trip to Arizona we took in the Summer of 2001. I had recently graduated from law school and Kevin from college. It would be our last vacation before entering the work force. We hit all the major areas -- Phoenix, Sedona, Grand Canyon and Lake Havasu. And did everything -- visited an art museum, took a 4x4 Jeep tour in the Red Rocks, stood in awe of our Creator at the Canyon and raced each other up and down Lake Havasu on jet skis. We also had our share of forgetable events -- like when we got terrible sun burns on the Lake and laid around in misery the rest of the day. Or how the A/C in that little 4-cylinder car we rented could barely keep up with the Arizona sun!

More recently, its been amazing to watch my "little" bro become a dad. His beautiful little girls have added joy to our lives, and its been cool to watch (and learn from) Kevin and his wife, Katie, parenting those two little cuties!

So many great memories I've shared with my brother. Yet so many more to come! Love ya bro!

Meet The Wedding Party - Sarah

Sarah Lynd . Bridesmaid

I've heard the saying that you will rarely talk to most of your high school friends outside of high school, but the friends you make in college will be your friends forever. I have to say that this statement has proven completely true for me. My best and closest friends that I could sit and talk with for hours, anytime we meet up, are my college friends.

And Sarah (Stover) Lynd is one of them.

I really became close friends with Sarah my sophomore year of college when I was her RA and her sister and her were roommates in my section. Despite having to go break up many "family" disputes in the room at the end of the hall:) I became an instant and best friend of Sarah.

Some of my favorite memories with Sarah were: Gabe's shopping trips on Saturday mornings, driving around Lancaster county looking at covered bridges, "special cleaning" in our East Esbenshade apartment, sitting up late at night and talking about EVERYTHING, knitting, and the list goes on and on.

This past summer I was able to attend Sarah's wedding in Virginia and was filled with joy to see her marry the love of her life. Despite having to wait a little longer than either of us might have planned to get married, God has brought wonderful guys into our lives and I am so happy that we can now share this chapter of our lives together.

While I would love to live closer to Sarah and get to see her more often, especially with a baby on the way for her and Steve, I know whenever and wherever we get to see each other in the future we will always be close.
